The attached letter was given to me by Bob Atnip, via Peggy Atnip.  The letter was written to Peggy on 18 July 1994, less than 2 years before Chuck passed away. Chuck’s health was declining rapidly but he felt it was important to take time to share his memories with Peggy in response to her request for family stories.

Linda and Ruby Marie have graciously allowed us to post this in hopes that the rest of the family might enjoy the information contained in the letter.

Chuck’s memories will aid us immensely as we seek to document the Atnip family story.
