Team Atnip,
We’re 54 days away from the Atnip Family Reunion. The T-Shirts have arrived and the cooking responsibilities have been finalized (click HERE).
The Pemiscot Press has run the attached article (click HERE) in the past and has promised to run it every day until the reunion for anyone in the area who may be interested.
If you have any hard copy pictures that you can provide to me so I can scan and place on the website, please bring them with you.
We’re also planning some excursions to some of our favorite places listed below. If you’re interested in going to any of these locations or if you have any places you’d like to see, please let us know so we can schedule the trips.
- Field trip to some of the local cemeteries
- Frazier Creek Rock House
- Marston, Missouri, where most of the Atnip kids went to school at some point
- The old Davis homestead near Chonia, Missouri (now underwater)
- Antique Flea Markets
- Walmart 🙂
We have a number of people coming who we haven’t seen for a while so it’s going to be a great reunion. Look forward to seeing everyone.
